Does a skylight make a room too hot in Dubai?+
Not with solar-control glazing — we spec it for roof-facing exposure specifically, which is a different sun load than a vertical window and needs a different glass spec.
Can a skylight open for ventilation?+
Yes — beyond fixed (non-opening) skylights, we build manual and motorised vented options for rooms that need airflow as well as light.
Will a skylight leak?+
Not when the upstand and flashing are detailed correctly for your roof type — this is standard engineering for us, and it's why we handle the flashing detail rather than treating the skylight as a bolt-on unit.
