Rigor Double Pleated Fly Screen questions
When do I need a double pleated screen instead of a single one?+
Once an opening is wider than around 3000mm, a single panel starts to sag and becomes harder to glide — splitting the mesh across two panels meeting in the middle keeps both halves taut and easy to operate.
Do the two panels meet without a gap for insects?+
Yes — the centre meeting point is fitted with a brush or overlap seal so the two panels close against each other with no insect gap.
Can I open just one side of a double pleated screen?+
Yes — each panel glides and stores independently, so you can open one side for a narrower gap or both for full access.
How much does a double pleated fly screen cost?+
Cost depends on the total opening width and finish. We give a fixed, itemised quote after a free site visit anywhere in the UAE.
